We love to buy your nicest, trendy plus size boutique looks! Make sure items are in season, clean, in great condition, and odor free. We takes sizes XL-6x and 12-34. Second Helpings Story
I started Second Helpings in 2019 with a rack in my living room of my own clothes. I felt there must be other plus size women out there who wanted to be able to buy curvy plus size second hand clothing at a reasonable price, and make a little cash selling off cute items as well. I started a Facebook group, and soon had generated a small following.
By 2021, I was able to move Second Helpings to a storefront on Minnesota Ave. We quickly outgrew that space. The demand for selling and buying was always growing, little by little. That space was feasible for a little over 2 years, when I finally found the perfect space to move the boutique.
The Carolyn Ave store has 2800 sq ft for shopping, trying on, browsing and having fun! No more running into each other while moving around! There are 4 fitting rooms, 1 is great for families, or people who may need more space.
I'm so excited to see where this next chapter takes us! I get to do what I love every day, make women feel beautiful, play with clothes, and talk!
I hope you can stop in sometime to see the store in person. If you want to shop online, I do post items to my Facebook group that are available to be shipped.

Yes, I am scheduling appointments about 6 weeks out right now. Please be patient with me getting you in to sell. Thank you for your continued support!
I buy plus size items size XL and up by appointment only. I pick the items that I want to purchase and pay cash on the spot for them. You will be responsible for taking the items I don't purchase with you. You can either wait in store or drop off your items and come back. An appointment typically takes 30 minutes. Please do not bring in items on hangers. Please do not bring in items inside out. Please do not bring in more than 2 totes or bags of items per appointment. You can make an appointment by texting or calling 605-305-8367 or emailing secondhelpingplus@gmail.com. Or you can send a message through the website!
On the website, you can pay with Paypal or through the GoDaddy pay system, which accepts credit cards. If you would like to pay with cash and live in the Sioux Falls SD area, please come into the store and shop! In the store, cash is king! All major credit cards are accepted in store, as well as Paypal, Venmo, Apple and Samsung pay, and local checks.
